I'm having a little difficulty setting up the verticals and picture size on my Sony 28FQ75.

Does anyone know if the BBC still transmit a test card at any time?

    Cheers BJ Notts.

I don't think they do now. 24 hour service.

If you have a DVD player, you can buy a DVD with lots of testcards and sound tests on it.

I forget the name of it, and its rather expensive though. Ask in the DVD forum for the name, and you might be able to rent it from the video store?

    Cheers,

    Paul..

AVIA or Video Essentials are two with test patterns in NTSC.

Referenz DVD is another with PAL patterns.

TAG DVD player has built in test patterns.

If you have foreign satellite you will find many channels broadcast test patterns when not broadcasting material.

Do any THX optimiser discs have patterns?
