Don't know if all Tesco's are the same but my local (Bursledon Towers, Southampton) is selling a pack containing two AAA Energiser rechargeable 750 mah NiMh batteries for £1.

Bloody Bargain if you ask me!!

I've just gone online at Tesco.com and have bought several 4x packs of AA 2100mah Energiser batteries for £1.87 a pack!!!

Brilliant deal. It's in the stores too.

Andy

They must be clearing them out. Tesco do reductions like this from time to time on items that are being discontinued.

Good spot, got a charger, 3 packs of AA and 2 packs of AAA.

hmm..

I ordered mine last tuesday via tesco.com

they came to deliver it today, but guess what.. they didnt have any.

They guy came and said, Ive bought normal batteries instead :/

Needless to say, I told him I want a refund !!

They better not charge me £4 for delivery

The Gatwick branch of Tescos have not had any of the AA rechargable batteries or the charger in stock for several weeks and all local internet deliveries of grocery items like these come direct from the store via Home Shopping van so ordering them off the internet site if they are not in stock in the store in your area is futile. The standard practice is to subtitute another item but obviously sending standard batteries instead of rechargables is just plain daft.:zonked:
And then theres that delivery charge...

Same thing happen to me, needless to say i was p****d off, but at least they had the sense not to offer me standard batteries, they just delivered some groceries (which I ordered on the back on the batteries!) without any trace of batteries

I ordered last week via the net, so it'll be standard batteries delivered by the looks of it
