For those who may have missed it in the PS59D6900 thread, Tesco currently have a great deal in store on the Accessory pack for 2011 Samsung 3D TVs. This gives you two pairs of SSG3100 glasses (normal price £50+ each) plus a copy of Megamind 3D on Blu Ray, all for £39! List price for this pack is in excess of £100, and most places are doing it for £60 (which is a deal anyway), so this is an absolute bargain! I've just picked up a pack from Tesco New Malden and they had several more in stock. Others have reported the same deal in other branches, although some had to ask for them to check out back for stock.

New Malden is a pretty big 'Tesco Extra', they have a TV department as well with a bunch of 50" sets on display. I would expect to find the pack at other branches which display sets, as it's an obvious upsell.

The store I checked yesterday was a Tesco Extra- and does display TVs on their own "wall" section (although I dont think any of them are 50" and I think theyre mostly teknica and the likes) but they deffinatley didnt have these- and also I couldnt even find any freeking 3d blurays which says alot!

You can probably get the Tesco Id code from the shelf edge label in that pic. With that it should be easy to phone up a particular branch and ask if they have stock.

This should make it a bit easier, just quote this number over the phone to a branch of Tesco and they can punch it straight into their stock computer (tell them its from a shelf edge label, as they probably only need part of the number and can tell you which bit it is). They can probably tell you which nearby branches have stock as well if they dont.

As you can see from the zoomed out picture further up, that's all that on that label. I wasn't thinking about trying to capture the number at the time, just snapping the price to show it wasn't an error.

TBH I don't know if they can process that label code. You would assume so, but maybe it's just for the label itself?

If it helps any, here is the barcode from the pack itself. This will be a Samsung generated UPC, rather than a Tesco code, but this is what their tills read so it should be recognised.

Aha, if you look at the middle section of the shelf edge code, its the same as the UPC (lower barcode on the pack). So that's the number you need I think.

    Ian thank you.

I can confirm by calling tesco with the barcode they can say how many they have in stock.

Dispite being told yesterday they dont know it, they actually have 6 in stock somewhere so im going back and not leaving until I get one!

Ian if you can hold off on your offer for now I would appreciate it as it would be easier if I can snag this directly :)

    SUCCESS!!

Gave her the barcode over the counter, her system said "unavailable" (worth noting!), when I instructed her they definatley have 6 in stock she made a call upstairs and they confirmed they had them, and she asked them to bring 2 down which they gladly did.

Ran them throuh, £39, job done :)

Funnily enough as I was taking out my payment card the women did say "that seems like a good deal- the system says guideline price of £100 on here!" so I responded with a cheeky grin "its £150 on tesco direct, £100 in alot of high street dealers, and £60 on amazon, so yes it is- oh the joys of the internet ;)", she responded grinning too "well good on you for grabbing it" haha bless her!

So moley its worth noting they quoted the guideline price, it still actually scans through as £39 each.

What you need to do is speak to the main tesco customer service over the telephone, say "im trying to find out if you xxx store has a product in stock and Ive managed to get a barcode for it, can you check please?" give them the barcode, and they will happily tell you how many that store has in stock.

You then march down to that store saying "high I spoke to your h/o earlier about a product which I cant find on display and theyve confirmed you have 6 in stock, can I have x many please? the barcode is xxxxxx" they should do the same as mine did- call their team upstairs who should proceed to bring them down :)

    Good luck :)

I think someone, somewhere has messed this one up. My suspicion is the price has been incorrectly put on for a single pair of glasses, as next to these in New Malden was a one pack of the same thing, but with no price showing. All on the level right now though, so fill your boots while you can!

My Local store has 13 of these in stock but are quoting £99 over the phone, will these ring in at £39 if I get one off the shelf?

should do- give it a go!

If it goes through at £100 just say you misread the label and dont want it/them.

Just picked this up from Milton Keynes Tesco - biggest one I've ever been in I reckon :) You have to ask for it behind the main service desk... Another assistant who was mighty surprised at the price

Just picked 2 up from the York store (still waiting for reply re JL price match - so 4 pairs of glasses, but no TV yet - still they look good in the box !)
The guy on the Electrical counter said it was a pricing error, and he had to check with his manager if he could sell them. The manager apparently said they were still waiting to hear from HO, but as they hadn't been instructed otherwise, I could buy them.
2 boxes left in store if anyone is looking near York.
