We all can accept and agree that Lee Rigby's horrific murder was an act of terror.

Many of us believe that the shooting in the church in South Carolina was an act of terror.

Why is this attack not considered as such by the British media? Nazi-obsessed loner guilty of attempted murder of dentist in racist attack | UK news | The Guardian

We have a white racist who followed racist, Nazi ideology, who was a member of a racist organisation, attacking an innocent man purely on the basis of his skin colour, in revenge for Lee Rigby. I don't know if the victim was even a muslim.

If the roles had been reversed I have little doubt it would have been described as a terror attack or similar, and would have got far greater coverage in the media.

I'm willing to be shot down in flames on this one so fire away if you think it has been correctly and appropriately reported and is not an act of terror.

Oh and a huge amount of credit to the guy who confronted the attacker in this case and no doubt saved the victim's life.

He was a Sikh. And the attack has already been mentioned in this very forum... I think everyone equates it very much with the Charleston attack.

As the person who started that very thread, I'm surprised I didn't get a notification email on the new posts to which you refer??

I went through a bunch of threads I thought it might be in but couldn't see it. Oh well, I'll probably find it next week when it's all old hat and we're arguing the toss over something else far more benign :)

Not as slow as me. I didn't even remember that I had read the posts on the thread and agreed with someone's response. I need a holiday from this place for sure.:rotfl:

Cheers! I become more active in the summer months when I'm not arguing the toss over politics with my mates at the football. I get it out of my system there instead.

Live there for 20+ years!!!! Its always been a pretty grim and insular place but for me its always been what i class as home. As for the Child Abuse yeah everyone knew it was going on and had heard the stories but that goes into the other stories about police corruption.

For some reason theres always been a little nasty far right element in the area and the borders down to Welshpool way. I think Nick Griffin of the BNP lived that way so its possible that may have attracted some of them over.

Uuh, Griffin, always doing weird stuff in Aberdyfi, wittering on about Cantre'r Gwaelod. Comparing this lost kingdom to the sea, to current immigration. Strangely pitching up in the early hours of summer mornings, for his YouTube channel!

He does live near Welshpool so does William Hague. Montgomeryshire is currently Tory held, used to be Liberal safe seat under Clement Davies!

One of my finest hours was insulting Nick Griffin to his face when he was campaigning in Shrewesbury He stopped me and asked would i vote BNP, i calmly looked at him and said I though TV was supposed to add 10lb to you, your actually alot fatter in real life than on TV. Got pushed aside by his rental goons as i don't think he was too happy with my comments.

I'm guessing that was last European Parliament election, just before he stood down as leader (and later expelled). Although if the 2010 general election campaign, one of his goons could have been Paul Golding, now leader of the Britain First clowns.
