It seems to me that the audio quality, through my multi-channel amplifier (on Prologic for example), is substantially better from analogue, terrestrial TV than it is from digital Frreview. It seems that there is a wider bandwidth on terrestrial TV.

Does anyone know anything about this? Am I imagining it? Is it down to the audio quality of my Freeview box instead?

I'm thinking of buying a Panasonic PW7 plasma screen, which does not have a TV tuner, and am wondering if I might regret having only a Freewview box with no analogue tuner. Are there any other alternatives?
