Its interesting but someone at the US Forums site has told me they own the region 3 DTS version and on comparison found the DD5.1 audio better than the DTS sound.

Doesn't surprise me, the Dolby soundtrack is superb...

But at least with the R3 you have the choice of both.

Good point but 5.8 gigabytes of the disc is being used, i can't help but wonder about the deluxe all singing all dancing version which is going to be released next year, for a tenner i'm happy to buy this now though.

Great review, saw the film at the cinema and after reading the review I have now made up my mind to buy the disc.

There's hardly any difference at all, the DTS track being ever-so-slightly sharper (from what my ears can make out).

I was told when u compare the crane chase sequence theres a huge difference between DTS and Dolby with the Dolby track being more dynamic and having lots more bass, i'll judge for myself this week as the film just arrived today, packaging is english but pretty ordinary but then it did only cost a tenner.

good review and I totally agree on the extras bit ... what a sad inclusion there were, when they could have done so much more

The worst bit was having stand in sarah conner and kyle reese, like ...hello I think we know what the original characters looked like , you're not fooling us here. Role on special edition
