Terminal Board Question

Can anyone tell me if the dual component/composite board for the series 6 Panasonic Plasma is BNC or RCA?

I have ordered the plasma from Alistair at AV-Sales but I have just received my 10 meter component cable with RCA connectors, have I just wasted money or can I use them with this terminal board.

Cheers

You'll need BNC to RCA converters, it'll be BNC conectors. I'd have thought alastair would have told you. Maybe you didn't ask?

I did ask Alistair and he said that he could supply the dual board with RCA, but then I spoke to Andy at time of ordering, he said that it was not possible.

Where could I get the connectors from?

I think I may have got a BNC to RCA connector once (for my CCTV camera) can't remember where though.

Gordie,I have also just ordered the Panny plasma from Alistar and as far as I am aware the RCA component / progressive is available. Click on the guide to terminal boards on the offer page.
Copied from AV-Sales website:
"Component Video
£78.73 ionc.VAT
Component video input board. Accepts interlaced and progressive signals.
[Slots 1, 2 or 3]
TY-42TM6ZC (RCA's) / TY-42TM6AB (BNC's) "
Mine is coming with the TY-42TM6ZC (RCA's) I hope.

Hi Contar

Yes that's the one I went for in the end, but when I first asked Alistair, if the Component/Composit board came with RCA connectors or was it just BNC, the reply was:

"Good morning Gordie

Thank you for your enquiry.

We can supply the dual slot board with RCA terminals to go with the leads you already have."

Then when i placed my order with Andy, he said that this was not possible, I then chose the Component only board, but I would have preferred the dual board.

Going to speak with Alistair tomorrow.
