A friend of mine is thinking of buying an exdemo Hitachi Plasma, not knowing much about this kind of thing he has foolishly come to me for advise oh deer,
I have taken a look at the model in question and it does not have a Terminal board fitted.
It only has computer style vga inputs, it does however have a blanking panel where I beleive a Terminal board with Componet inputs can be fitted.

    What are his options?
Is it as simple as just buying a plug in board?
Will it need a Hitachi one or can money be saved getting a 3rd party brand?
Were from and how much will it cost?
Can I just by a box or cable that converts from scart or componet to computer type inputs?

Any info on this would be appreciated.
