Anyone else fed up with Telewest not providing...

    1. digital teletext
    2. on-screen programme guide for more than 1 day
    3. e-mail that works
    4. etc...
    5. etc..

    Any other comments...??

Telewest - where 'coming soon'... means 'please wait for 12 months and then wait for a bit more...'

    Give up mate!

I waited and waited.... and waited... and waited...

and waited. Numerous emails and no replies. Their service just get less and less competitive by the day. So I gave up and in December I switched to Sky with a Sky+ box.

I have to say, I am *completely* delighted with it. The picture is virtually identical to Teleworst. (In the final analysis, the Telewort picture is just a tiny, weeny bit better, but you'd never notice.) But now I get:

    DD5.1
A remote that works with the rest of the world!!!! Yipee
    Teletext
    Optical out
    Multi-day programme guide
    More channels
    Premier Widescreen
    Pause Live TV
    Record 1, watch another

Its *INFINITELY* better. It was like living in the dark ages with cable. And even with the £10 per month for Sky+, its only £6 more than Teleworst.

    Wave them goodbye!

    Chip.
