telewest digital AND freeview on same tv

now at the moment i dont have freeview. but i will be with my new tv Samsung LE32R41BDX.

now at the moment i get my telewest signal onto my tv through my ariel, connected to the other room, but what if i wanted a telewest box in my room? would i be able to hook it up? afaik theres a DVB and a TV button to change between digital broadcasts and analogue.

so to make it simple, can i get a digital box for my room, and hook it up to a TV that has Freeview also? if so, then how?

You need an separate aerial for a Freeview digital STB. It will not work running it from a cable box rf output unless the cable box has an input for an external aerial.

its ok i figured it out now, but thanks for replying

the telewest digital boxes have a scart on them so i can use that to connect that to the tv and have the freeview come through on the ariel (although i wont use it if i get the telewest box lol)
