    Hi there

I want to get the audio from my Telewest (Pace) set top box directly through my Sony amplifier as opposed to via the TV.... do you know if there is a way to do this??

Currently i can only get analogue audio when its fed via the TV to the Amp and i was hoping to do better than this?

    Any ideas?

Er .... going back a few weeks since I last used a Telewest cable box (also Pace i think) but, from what I remember it had those little audio jacks on the back. Two of them one for left and one for right. These should be able to plug straight into your amp and provide anologue sound, although again, from what I remember don't expect stunning audio.

It will probably be only slightly better sound than pushing it through your tv. I don't actually recall it dumping out digital sound.

This is how I used to do it anyway. :)

*edit: Check out this link for a diagram of something similar to the back of your box, your looking to use connection(s) labeled 4.
