    1. Anyone using teleswest broadband with apple mac?,

just checked their min requirements, which may be out of date..

    http://www.telewest.co.uk:80/motive/system_requirements_bbi.pdf

1b. Never heard of a NIC card, is that same as a ethernet port?.

    2. *Do you get a modem and a router from them?.
I want to use both mac and xbox.

    3. Would i need a additional IP address at extra cost?

    3. Telewests own protection sofware is incompatitble with macs, so will their hardware* have any kind of firewall?

    thanks

Not really the right thread to post it in but.

I use my Mac with Telewest. I didn't even need to install any software for it to work.

You only need an ethernet port.

    You only get a modem

Why do need 2 separate IP's?

Macs have no virus' of yet. Only worms that you have to be incredably dim to install on your Mac... So no firewall is needed:thumbsup:
