    Yesterdays Telegraph, Sat 18th.

Olympus E-20 + three lenses and Camedia "Pro" 4.0 Software Suite for £999 inc vat + £8.90 courier.

    Lenses are W/CON 08B (28mm equiv), T/CON 14B, (200mm), and the T/CON 300 (420mm).

The ad says that the normal discount price is £1795.90.

I've been looking for a digi cam but wasn't this far up the spec table, and hadn't even considered the SLR's. So I've no idea if this really is the bargain of the century, or if there's a catch or downside.

Even this is a lot more than my intended budget, but if the deal is as good as it appears, well..........

So, opinions please - is this the bargain deal it appears to be?

The E20 £999 deal has been around for several months. If you are in the market for a digicam of similar spec, then the £300D with 18-55 lens at £786 from QED, and a Canon EF75-300 lens, available for £149 new, is a much better proposition. Cheaper too!
