Any Teenage Fanclub fans out there ?

Got the new album yesterday, and went to see them in Leeds last night.
Only had chance to give the albums a couple of spins, but it sounded typically TFC - timeless harmonies :)

They were great live again - the new songs sit nicely alongside the old classics, and "Don't Look Back", "Take the Long Way Round" and "Sparkys Dream" all brought a massive smile to my face. Must admit, they're looking a bit older though !

If you like timeless, tuneful indie pop, you can't go far wrong

    Ian.

I was a fan of them in the 90's - I assume its the same band..??

will check them out...I see other bands like the wedding present, house of love and the go-betweens have also released stuff!

Could never make my mind up about TFC

I have bought a few albums over the years, many of which still sound great today (timeless as you say...)

With regard to the new House Of Love & Go Betweens albums, they are both excellent. Nothing new, but listening to bands you had a soft spot for a few years ago just gives you that nice warm feeling...

A welcome return for both :smashin:
