techwood ... any good ?

    currys doing a 42 inch techwood plasma for under a grand, as ive never heard of techwood before im just treading the water :confused:

    Techwood is a currys own brand, it's meant to sound naggingly familiar, Technics, Kenwood, 2 respectable brands? Unfortunately it's fairly crap. You gets what you pay for, this is meant to be cutting edge technology, you can't just make it more cheaply without cutting corners. I'm not suggesting you rush out and spend £3k, just do some more homework. There's a lot of deals on TVs around at the moment, cos everyone has just discovered their Tv's are not sky high definition compatible... If that doesn't bother you (techwood won't be) the world is your oyster.
