Hi all

I've got the chance to buy a vintage Technics SL-10 Direct drive turntable for £20. Is it worth the price ?

Thanks

Mark

The question really is is it worth it to you? £20 is not a lot of money and, assuming it functions properly, it will allow you to play records. Do you know the state of the stylus? If it need replacing I believe any 'P' mount will work. Its not going to be the best sound quality, but then you're not paying best quality price.

I'm not aware that it has a cult status so I doubt its value will rise.

Cheers for the replies guys, its appreciated.

I'm going to have a look at it later this afternoon.
I'll make sure its in full working order before I come across.

Cheers

Mark
