I have seen the Technics DVD-A10 DVD audio and video player for
sale at techs for £300 +vat can any one tell me is this player any good. At present i have a sony 536 player and i want to know is the A10 going to be a better player (video and sound wise) and what does DVD audio sound like through the A10. How many of you good people have one and what are the pros and cons.

Your help would be much appreciated.

What Hifi didn't rate the Technics very highly in their March review but that was against other £900 players.

If you don't need DVD-Audio you might be better off spending the money on a Toshiba or Pioneer.

One has to wonder why a £900 player is now on sale at £350 only a few months after launch.

Techtronics are the only place that are doing it for £350 that I found, next cheapest is around the £700 mark.
