I have a Technics SU-VX920 integrated amplifier. It started making loud popping noises through the speakers, then the red "current drive" light would go out and it wouldnt come back on. I replaced the two big main capacitors and it now comes back on, but after ten minutes or so there is a varying high pitched noise coming from the amp sounding a bit like a whistling kettle starting to boil and the red "current drive" light goes out, and it will not come back on unless left for a few hours. This happens with nothing connected to the amp and regardless of output selected. It also happens on power amp direct setting. I have looked at all the solder connections that I can see and they appear fine. None of the small capacitors have popped but could one have leaked, or is it something else?
