Awareness - Please watch the video

So, we enter the last full week of Movember and the moustache growing is now wielding results... well in some cases anyway.
We have broken the £1000 barrier and I would like to think that we are on track to hit our target of £2000 by next Wednesday. In this case we have some extra support for the final push, with a forum sponsor offering a prize to be raffled in aid of the cause, more below...

So updates;

Our founder, who art in Birmingham has produced a very impressive caterpiller on his top lip that deserves a £5 donation in anyones book. Donate to Stuart here: http://uk.movember.com/mospace/1733386/

Well my Mo is now really getting on my nerves! I have never had one before and after the 30th I doubt I will again until next years Movember. It is itchy and annoying, but I keep telling myself it is for a good cause!
We are prepping a final Appeal video, so my photo is a still from that video spoof, filmed yesterday. The video will be out later this week.

You can donate to me here: Phil Hinton - Home

Steve Withers

We have zoomed in on Steve's photo as it still looks like he has more hair on his head than his top lip. But if you look closely enough you should just be able to make it out. Well done Steve!

Mark Hodgkinson

Mark is certainly on track to nail the serial killer look! Nice use of colour correction in that photo to hide his ginger MO! Well done Mark!
Donate to Mark here: Mark Hodgkinson - Home

Adam Parrish - Angeleyes

With some impressive handle bars on show, you can't help but be impressed with Adam's efforts this Movember. I wouldn't want to be seen in public like that, but impressive none the less.
You can donate to Adam here: Adam Parrish - Home

Jean-Paul de Jong - dejongj

Don't ask us what the hell is going on in this photo! Water Pistol, beret and handle bars? Plus a Movember T-Shirt! All we know is that Jean-Paul's Photo challenge is going great guns and likely to cost him lots of money in Donations! That should also include you! So donate to Jean-Paul here: Jean-Paul - Home

Also check out Jean-Paul's photo challenge here: http://www.avforums.com/forums/phot...ongj-movember-photo-challenge-now-live-3.html

Russell Williams

Compared to every other photo Russell has submitted, this one is the most confusing! He is smiling which means he must be on the medication or drink again, probably both! Good work Russell!
You can donate to Russell here: http://uk.movember.com/mospace/1701630/

David White - dwhite

Nice work this week from David, but still some work to reach Mario standards! You can donate to him here: http://uk.movember.com/mospace/1808634/

Jonathan Hunt - Insanity202

Our youngest team member is doing his best as a late starter and if you look closely enough his progress can be seen. We just hope that is a cigar he is holding! Donate to Jonathan here: Movember United Kingdom - Home

John Lindsay - Ed the Penguin

John is doing well with his handle bars and needs your encouragement to keep looking like a fool for the rest of the month! donate to him here: Movember United Kingdom - Home

Jean-Paul's colour and trim

Dear forum members and possible donators to our cause, our illustrious member Jean-Paul is not only donating money himself for every Photograph you get of someone sporting a Mo in real-life, BUT, this challenge has now fallen and will go ahead.

Here is Jean-Paul's challenge

The ladies in the commercial team were so impressed with my tash that they asked what they can do, and then after their lunch break (without consulting me dare I say) came back with some hair dye  So I've got some Mo Sista who are setting up an event at my clients for the 29th at 10:30 in the morning to trim and colour my tash.

£50 will make me have a single colour
£75 will get me a two colour tash
£100 will get me a three colour tash
£150 will make me do it on Thursday 23rd instead

And the lovely colours they have chosen are luscious pink, rage red and passion purple. Unfortunately not the washable stuff, so I hope the shave will remove it all. Anyway a little boost and challenge, will arrange for video/photos and hopefully there are takers at that client that want to make me look ridiculous.

So, let's have some fun! Let's get the donations in to reach those targets so we can further humiliate poor Jean-Paul with photos and videos posted of the challenge.
Donate here: Movember United Kingdom - Home
(His total at the time of posting is £146 from his photo challenge, which will be ignored for this event)

So, Jean-Paul's total as it stands = £10 Get donating!

Thought I'd post this.. Made me chuckle!

I'm sure i just posted this but i will again as its disappeared.

Does the £5 have to be in one go or can it be cumulative, as i have been donating without this kindly offer anyway.

Some interesting looks there guys. I suspect that come the end of the month some of these cracking efforts will be swiftly removed though!! :D
Big thumbs up to TPS for donating the prize as well. Nice one chaps.

I wonder if we should start another thread where we all post old embarrassing photos of ourselves from the 80s when we all seemed to have facial hair :D

It is slow, but I've besides that donation I've received another £18 in pledges. So total for the 'Color Me Mo' challenge is currently £28....So good news is no colouring today phew...But it might happen early next week.

BTW Excellent offer from TPS, shame the multi-region bdt-210 is not in stock anymore....

Fantastic effort! Although isn't that connected to the sides and if so it is a breach :p

You know, I actually had a big (drunken) debate with people over this! We finally decided as there was no plumage on any other part of my face (especially the chin) that I could get away with it this year. Lesson learned for next year though!

Can I thank all the team members for their efforts so far, some excellent MO's to be seen! There have also been some great challenges like the photo taking competition that Jean-Paul has been running and of course his shaving which is still to come! Everyone has also been out filming themselves in compromising positions this week for the final appeal music video, which is coming very soon. And finally all of the team have managed to raise some excellent totals with their own efforts as well as the team effort.

Also I want to thank everyone who has donated so far, your donations are going to a great cause that affects us all!

Our total as of 6.45pm 24th Movember is £1,570

We have 6 days left for a final push towards our £2k target and hopefully we can get there with your help! And remember every £5 donation gets you a place in the raffle for the Panasonic BD Player donated by TPS!

Cheers! Can't wait to get rid of it though - although, some part of me will miss it..

Our final appeal video done in the style of an 80's TV opening credits. Lot's of good looking MO's and guest appearences in here... Well worth watching and sticking it to the end!
