I remember reading an interview with Matt and/or Trey about the making of this. They were talking about the Thunderbirds remake and saying how they were disappointed that the makers took the only good thing about the Thunderbirds out of the film. (ie, the puppets)

Definitely looking forward to this one.

    Team America: World Police

    IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372588/
Trailer: http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/team_america/ (there is a trailer AND a teaser)

After reading some reviews, and some blogs, I'm now more interested in this movie than ever before. The Democrat Underground (a radical left-wing site) calls it "crap." DailyKOS (another radical left-wing site) calls it "not funny." spoiler
Ignoring Hans Blix getting fed to Kim Jong Il's sharks, and Michael Moore dying as a suicide bomber, and the sheer PC-incorrectness in this movie, I *can't* wait! Anyone looking forward to it? This may be a very ... American movie and I don't think it will do well outside of the United States.
That, and I'm sure it will be banned in numerous countries for racisim, sexism, sex, etc.

Saw a trailer for this last night at the cinema - seems surprising that they would be advertising a film now which was not out for a year...

You're right about them trying to ban it. I think it's funny when these groups of people complain and tried to ban these types of films because all it does is give it publicity. Before hearing about it on the news I had never heard of the film but now I want see it. :D

I caught this film in the US last week and it is absolutely superb. Funniest thing I've seen for ages and damn clever as well. Even better than the South Park movie IMHO.

Looking forward to seeing it again but IMDB is showing it as not released in the UK cinemas until mid Jan
