    Hi guys,
I know it's a little out of place, as the
teac vrds-10 is a cd-player. but my hifi-dealer can sell me a brand new showroom model for £400. I'm currently using a sony-715 as a transport for cd's too. will it
outperform the sony ?I would then use the sony for dvd-duties only.
    Cheers,

I Have a Teac VRDS 7 with a Musical Fidelity Tubalog Dac and then bought a Pioneer 919 DVD/ Laser Disc player.
I must say that as a transport the 919 seems to equal the Teac, but remember that because the 919 is also a LD player it is has two lasers and what seems to be a very robust transport. In fact I find the DAC in the Pioneer beter than the Musical Fidelity outboard DAC.
