Yes, but in french only with no subtitles as far as I can see. You can try

    amazon.fr

    or

Forgot to mention that I believe it also comes as a Taxi 1 / Taxi 2 double film disc.

I know, it's a fantastic film. One of those films that you would never pick up unless you had it recommended to you.

One of the best films in my collection. Awesome in every aspect, on eto watch over and over. I'm dying to see Taxi 2 but don't speak French well enough to enjoy it without subtitles.

Check out Le Reine Margot too if you're into that sort of thing. Very good.

OK I'll have a look around, might be tempted to buy La Heine. Recently bought Killing Zoe and am glad I did. I don't speak a lot of French either, it is a legacy from my ex fiance, she kept dragging me along to French films years ago, and I couldn't help but notice they can make a decent film now and again.

One thing that is bugging me though, what other films was the taxi driver in?, his face is so familiar I'm sure I must know but I can't remember.

Actually there was a double film disc - I nearly bought it last year when I was in a shop in France, but it has since been deleted it seems so both right!

The sound of Taxi 1 was so good anyway, love to hear what it's like in DTS.

In 'Nikita' wasn't he the druggie son of the chemist at the beinning?

I thought you were talking about a sequel to 'Taxi' starring Judd Hirsch and Andy Kaufman!

    Seriously! [IMG]

...the original French DVD was "remasterisé" and reissued with a dts soundtrack in addition to the DD 5.1 one...
    http://www.dvdfr.com/dvd/fiche.php3?id=1635

TAXI 2 has only been released with a DD 5.1 sountrack

BTW, there is no 'double feature' disc, just the three mentioned!

    . . .

I've ordered one but am yet to recieve it, so I can't say if it's any good. I have ordered from them before and their service was very and cheap. I hope this is of help to all who want this film.
