Just thought i'd give people the heads up.

A number of members (including myself :D ) have really gotten into R3 cinema this year. However, it can be a dauting trying to find a jumping off point of which films to watch. As luck would have it this months Empire comes with a "Tartan" catalogue which details loads of jap/korean/hk titles. I thought it was really handy as i wasn't really sure about were to start with R3 cinema (other than asking questions on here) - so i have a list now of about 20 titles - all of which i will source from R3 retailers for £7.99 :D

    Hi Gary,

Do you mean the Jan 2005 issue, with "Alexander" on the front (aka Colin Farrell) on the cover?

If you do, the reason I ask, is because in my bagged and sealed copy, all I got was the mag itself, a "Four" magazine (extolling the P*ss-poor programming on Channel Four over the Chrimbo holidays), the free 108 page Movie Trivia Guide, and a leaflet about "Paper Cinema" or something, sponsored by Orange. No "Tartan Catalogue" in site.

Any help would be appreciated, as if it is this issue, then I'll need to phone Empire HQ and get them to send me one!

    Hi Gary,

Alas, I don't subscribe. It sounds like it was a special thing, for Subscribers only. You lucky so-and-so! Maybe I can try and blag one off of Empire or Tartan themselves? ;)
