Taping from VHS to E85

    Apologies if this is a stupid question but I assume all DVD recorders can archive some video tapes of old shows and/or camcorder material, in particular the Panasonic E85 which I'm thinking of getting.

    Yep, they can archive old video footage. Just connect the video up to the AV2 scart, as I assume that's where you'd put your Sky/cable connection.

    The E85 won't back-up some pre-recorded VHS tapes though, well not without a macrovision cable.
