On paper the spec looks good (a nice real wood finish to keep 'er indoors happy) & the price seems rather cool too @ £399

    Any views?

awful sub! I went through 2 last year, and they produced an awful humming noise when switched on.

In the end I got a refund, and got a REL. I believe this problem with Tannoy subs is fairly well documented.

    Puddleduck.

I notice you have a pair of R3's which you're using with an MXC centre, could you tell me how the centre fits in as i also have R3's and am looking for a centre to use with them.

    Hiya

The Tannoy MXC blends in really well with the R3's too be honest.

I was hankering after an RC, but the MXC is a very good centre, and tonally it matches very well.
