      Hi folks.
I'm just replacing my rather old KEF Eggs 2005 set with Tannoy HTS101 XP speakers.

As you probably know, all the satellites in the Tannoy set are the same - including the front centre.

Do you think it's worth replacing the centre with something else and if so - any suggestions?
(Keep in mind it only cost me £350 for the whole set so I wouldn't want to spend any more than £150 on a replacement centre)

      Thanks! :)
      RG

It's always best practice to keep the front three from the same model range to preserve timbre across the front sound stage. If you really think you need a better centre then best stick to Tannoy.
