I have now replaced my front aego t set up with a pair of F4's and the F1 centre custom tannoy speakers. all i can say is that its a massive difference compared to the aego t sats that were there previously. even though i do not have a sub the F4's give such a deep resonance that it sounds better than my aego set up ever sounded even with the subwoofer. my question relates to 2 things. first do i remove the padding from the front of the speakers - why is it there and what does it do. secondly will i see any advantage in biamping, biwiring the fronts. i only use the set up for movies and games. if i should biamp etc then which is better biamping or biwiring. My onkyo 705 allows me to biamp by linking the back surrounds to the low level speaker inputs.
