Tannoy Eyris 3

Does anyone have any experience with this speaker? The reviews have been mixed but it just looks so good.

My dealer has to order it in for me to audition it but I don't want him to go to the trouble if the Eyris is a lemon (any comments on the matching centre speaker would also be gratefully received).

I'd be matching the speakers with a Marantz sr9300 receiver and kef eggs at the rear.

hi there, is this the older eyris 3 or the new one? The older eyris 3 I would imagine wouldn't sound as good as the new one but it is currently half price....
