This is the best price I've seen for one of these. Supposed to be pretty decent for a sub with a very high WAF.

Actually, having looked at that, it may be a misprice, because at this price, the Arena 5.1 system comes in under 1k, about £150 shy of their package price. Still, you might get an order in under the wire.

It's worth noting that Unbeatable have this for £299.96 delivered.

Now they offer a 'Price Promise' which states :

Because a number of our competitors use our prices as a benchmark we guarantee that if within 7 days of purchase you find the same product in stock on the UK mainland, boxed, brand new, UK sourced and supplied via an official UK supplier, we will beat their price by 10% of the difference (excluding delivery).

So from that if you buy from them then present the HiFiBitz deal they'd refund you the difference plus 10%, working out at £211.99 all in :smashin:

Well, it would work if hifibitz had any in stock. I've had my order on since the 20th (less than a week, I guess) and it still says 'awaiting stock from supplier'.

I might fire them an email tomorrow and see what's up...

Also the 10% of the difference excludes delivery. hifibitz price has free delivery included. Unbeatable has a sort of standard 7.99 delivery charge, making the prices almost identical. If they were to match.

Aha! "Special Order from Supplier". That's the get-out there. If they know everyone has to do this, then they'll know that no one has it in stock.

well, if it arrives, I'll let you know. Was supposed to be yesterday, but I'm still waiting for some word from interlink.

I doubt I'll be any good as a judge of subwoofer, but I'll let you know what I think from a pretty narrow field of experience.

the guy at hifibitz said they were expecting more on Monday, so if the interlink guys don't find the parcel, I'll hopefully get one of those by Wednesday. That's getting on for more than 14 days since ordering

HiFiBitz offers bronze, white, silver, and black ones. I thought that I would mention just incase someone is interested in getting a certain colured one.

 This is off topic, and sorry to resurrect an old thread, but when I bought a Denon 2803 amp and set of Acoustic Energy Evo speakers from Hifibitz about a year ago, Interlink also managed to "lose" one of my boxes en route - the amp, leaving everything else that did turn up useless for the week and a half it took for Hifibitz to source a replacement. Amazing to hear they're still using Interlink for their deliveries!

Interlink have a turnover in excess of £80m per annum which means that they probably collect and deliver over 10m parcels each year. I would guess that every logistics company handling that many packages will misplace a few and perhaps Hifibitz continue to use Interlink as their record is better than others that they have tried.

After all one parcel misplaced a year out of ten million isn't bad :)
