I bought the Storm amp years ago now, and am considering upgrading now.
I was going to use the Storm as the treble signal to the speakers, and also as a pre-amp to input a signal into a power amp for bass. First question - will this work?

Trouble is, my old retailer no longer stocks Talk, and also tells me that the range has move on now, and so matching the Storm to a poweramp in the new range may not match quite right tonally etc.

Can anyone remember what the power amp range was back then, and where I could find one?

Also, should I just sell my Storm and get a new pre-power amp combination?

I'm kind of keen on the integrated amp as a pre-amp and also supply power to (treble input of) speakers to save money. Is this a bad idea though?

    Thanks
