Thought that might have just been due to the age of the video itself.

Converting video can be dodgy hehe.

whos song is this anyway? i always thought it was a CCR song.

norman whitfield and barret strong wrote it (they were writers not performers, who wrote tons of classic motown hits), and smokey robinson and the miracles released the first version. marvin recorded his version but it wasn't released until after glady knight and the pips later recorded and released their version, then marvin gaye released what is probably the most well known version. motowns in house band the funk brothers played on all three versions

creedence clearwater revival covered it 3 years later in 1970. a load of other people have covered it, including paul weller and amy winehouse duetting on jools holland
