Come on lets see who has taken the time off work for mw2 and done the shopping and got the munchie's in and payed the bills and done everything before the game comes out so you can hammer mw2!!

I have 10 days and also got sleeping pills for my other half!!

The blinds will be shut and the doors locked and my phone off!!

I have my first child on way in 2 weeks time .As much as i want to its pointless taking time off as it wont be spent playing mw2 lol.

I didnt really plan it too well with release dates :)

Well...

I've pre-ordered MW2 from ShopTo, so here's what I'm thinking/hoping /planning!

  • The Game comes out on Tuesday 10th November - Fact!
  • ShopTo normally send games out early - Fact!
  • Even if they were to send it out to get it to me for release day, it would have to be sent out on Monday 9th November.
  • I work 5 minutes from ShopTo, so I'm hoping I can pick mine up on Monday rather then them posting it for Tuesday. :smashin:
  • I wonder when they will actually receive their stock....perhaps they will receive it on Saturday 7th....

Either way, I've booked the Tuesday and Wednesday (10th & 11th) off work and will be settling down for some MW2 loving!

Hopefully I'll be sitting pretty in/on my new beanbag: http://www.avforums.com/forums/xbox-360/910823-thinking-getting-gaming-chair-anybody-got-one-8.html :D

The blinds will be shut and the doors locked and my phone off!!

And that's what I'm talkin' about! :hiya:

Myself and Bearman were chatting about this last night. I seriously think most people with Pre-orders will get there copies on the Saturday before which will probably que much grouchiness on here from members that don't have their copies yet. I reckon it will follow more or less the same template as ODST.

You reckon that will be the case with Shopto ?
Does anyone know if Shopto has to be signed for or is it just delivered ?

I think Shopto will for sure :smashin: IIRC they are indeed Sign for items.

Hows everyone gonna feel if their copies arrive on the Saturday or Monday and they only have the Tuesday booked off work ? Could be a sudden spate of sickies I think :rotfl:

^^you work:eek: I thought you were Stuart's Wright's gaming profile.

Unfortunately days off are far to precious to spend in front of a TV.
However I might take the box to work, put in in my drawer where I can occasionally stroke it.

If I am expecting a sign for item I will normally leave a note for my postie. He is happy to sign for stuff and then stash it in my porch. He once even came to find me at the train station for a sign for package. He'd realised he had just missed me so thought he would try his luck at the station. Top Top bloke. He has been like that since I left him a note on GTA relase day:

Morning Mr Postman, I am wating for a video game that I really want to play. Would you be kind enough to ring the doorbell when you arrive so I get it straight away.

Thanks upfront
Steve

So he rings the doorbell expecting a 13 year old nerdy kid and instead he sees a nerdy man in his late 20s and starts laughing at me. Cheers mate !

Been on really good terms ever since :smashin:

Got to agree there about taking time off for games. Much as I`m looking forward to this I only use holiday for the family and fishing. Go on, someone say something sarcastic! :rotfl:

I hope you give him a decent tip at Christmas then or the next thing he might push through your letter box might be stamp-free, brown and rather smelly!
