    Hi,

I am a proud owner of a DPA32R preamp, which I really like. Now I’m looking to integrate the PC with the stereo (not very high end with those mp3:s, I know). For convenience I would like to be able to remote control the DPA from the PC (switching source, changing volume).

I made some searches on the tagtronic link, and it seems like it should be able to do the trick, right? However, I can’t for the life of me find any info about the protocol (electric as well as logical). I am a very experienced programmer, so I should be ok whatever the protocol is. I just need to find it.

I would be very grateful if anyone here could point me in the right direction. I’d be happy to share any application I might come up with if anyone is interested.

    Thanks,

    Örjan

    Hi

Check this to see if that's what you're looking for. I know these ones are for the AV32R DP units but maybe you can figure something out.

Thank you all! Exactly was I was looking for! Now I'm just gonna build some RS485-USB converters or something and try out this stuff. Thanks again!

I would be interested in your application and the RS485/USB when you get it to work please. Always nice to see a fresh approach.

Sure! I'll check back here when I have something up and running. It might take me a while to find the time though.

Are you interested in controlling only the DPA32 too, or do you want support for other stuff (like the AV32 or anything else)? In that case I'll try to throw it in.

AV192R would be great but anything you start off would be most interesting
