I'm obviously being blind and/or stupid, but I can't find, on the Tag website, the prices for upgrades to the AV32 and option prices for the AV192.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Cheers
    John

Thanks for your help guy's, but.............I've signed up and still can't see where it is. I can see some of the upgrade options for the AV32 but can't see the pricing. As for the AV192 I can't find anything................obviously brain failure on my part :)

The pricing things are crap anyway. Ring the helpdesk.

The wizards ask you to enter when you bought your AV32R but doesn't let you enter what upgrades you've already had.

These "features" are the lowest point of Tag's pretty shoddy website.

Ring the helpdesk. You'll get friendly service and accurate advice.

    David,
Thanks for that info, I'll give them a bell.

As an aside and seeing that you are a Tag owner can you tell me how you connect the analogue output of a CD player to the Tag?

Also is there a phono option.

    Thanks
    John

    Hi John,

Use any of the stereo inputs. You can rename them from within the setup menu. Also, I think you can set the AV32R up so that when you select an input (like CD) it uses the sound and video input you select. The sockets are labelled as AUX, TV, SAT etc for convenience only. It can all be reconfigured if you wish. The helpdesk will be able to explain that better.

There is no phono option. You'd need a seperate phono amp but could rename one of the inputs as outlined above.

One more thing. If you have the 5.1 analogue bypass fitted, I think it can be configured as 3 extra stereo inputs with the added advantage that the signal doesn't get redigitised. Without the bypass, you'd probably be better off using a digital input for CD (fewer conversions).
