Just been informed by Barry that TMA will be putting in an appearance at the Manchester AV show. At least this is a sign to everyone that the brand and gear is not dead

IAG's Hong Kong distributor had demo'ed the entire Tag range at the HK show this year. No new products though, but is expected. Here's a link to the HK show pics, if you have enough patience and time, look thru all of them. Can't remember which one had the Tag pics but it's somewhere in the middle.

Oh, it's not middle somewhere, but on page 2. Right in the middle of the Quad stuff, almost like an afterthought.

If you have enough time, eventually you will scroll to the Tara Labs pics. Lots of marketing money spent, then again all this was before they got raided by the FBI for fraud. Wonder how Tara Labs is gonna get outta that one!

Don't know if it's been proven yet, I read that their view was that the cables were "part assembled" in Asia. Hence they were still finished in US, so "Hand made in good ol' US of A!"

Still, bit naughty of them to say they're manufactured in the US, when it seems likely that they are in fact made in China/Asia somewhere.

You'd think that some of the press would get on this a bit more and complain about high-end esoteric cables being poor value for money if they are in fact mass produced. Don't mean that everyone does this, but I bet some of the other cable manufacturers are slightly worried at what happened. Especially if they're US based.
