I'm trying to connect DVD 32 with PSM 192 option, to a Samsung 60 'LCD TV,
I used a good cable, I set the video output to rgb,
the result is disappointing ......
you see an image with red fluorescent contours ...
hello joe ,and thanks for the reply,
yes, I tried with another cable and also with an adapter on HDMI cable,
but, the result does not change, with the previous television I had the same problem, only with dvi output.
when I connected the TV with component output it was ok.
DVI vs. 3RCA - if the 'Component' Output is working you may want to stick with that option.
DVI > HDMI - have your tried adjusting brightness and contrast on the TV's HDMI Input, that will often sort out false contouring issues. If making that adjustment does resolve the issue you will want to use a decent test pattern disc to aid you adjust the settings - you will also need to think about how your TV saves settings (per input or per signal format).
