Shame on me for watching it, but last night I watched a 'Gadget Show' (C5) that has been on my Sky+ for a few days.... On it was a 'shoot out' between a Denon virtual surround system £450, a Pioneer all-in-one £330, and "TAG McLaren's ultimate system" at £30,000. This was a Pioneer 656 DVD player, AV192, 3x250r, 5x100r and a set of older style B&W Matrix speakers..... There were a few moments of advice and comment that bordered on the ridiculous ("the voices had a charcoally quality...."). The upshot of this was that the presenter had trouble telling apart the Denon virtual (2.1) system from the Tag. In the end the Tag pipped it, which showed "you get what you pay for" . Anyone else see it?
