Tabula Rasa (Caviar)

Tabula Rasa is a psychological thriller about Mie, a young woman with amnesia who is locked up in a secure psychiatric hospital. Mie is visited by Detective Inspector Wolkers who claims she was the last person seen with the vanished Thomas Spectre. As a witness and prime suspect, she appears to be the sole key in this mysterious disappearance. Mie can’t be released from the hospital until Thomas is found.

In order to solve the puzzle and find Thomas, Mie has to reconstruct her lost memories and find her way back through the dark labyrinth of her recent past. The more she remembers, the more she starts to mistrust not only the people around her but also…herself.

Are these new memories real or mere figments of her imagination in a desparate attempt to fill in the blanks?

Jonas Govaerts (Cub) and Kaat Beels (Clan, Hotel Swooni, Beau séjour) join forces to direct the series. Tabula Rasa was created by Malin-Sarah Gozin – she also scripted the highly succesful series Clan, for which A&E is preparing an American remake – together with actress Veerle Baetens, who takes her first steps into scriptwriting with this project. Screenwriter Christophe Dirickx (The Misfortunates, Left Bank) completes the writing team.

Tabula Rasa is produced for Flemish public channel één by Caviar, known for (co-) producing such films as The Diary of a Teenage Girl, The Brand New Testament, Black and Paradise Trips, and TV series Clan, Amateurs and The Emperor of Taste. Tabula Rasa is scheduled to air in the autumn of 2017 and received support from the Flanders Audiovisual Fund/Media Fund of Flemish Media Minister Sven Gatz

episode 3, it's getting interesting
why her husband marry Mie if he keeps an affair  for wealth ? collaborate with his V mistress, to kill his wife or to permanently put her in a mad house or jail for killing Tom

the daughter must be taught to care for her mom rather than keeps making demands on Mie :boring:

the inspector very hardworking :smashin: but unawares that the murderer already spying on Mie in the institution try to lure her with fake knowledge that she kill Tom

I did enjoy this. The atmosphere and tricks with perception were well done, I did think that the final unravelling was a bit overdone though and the key reveal was predictable early on.
