Viewsonic V1100 TabletPC for £596 inc delivery and vat from www.expansys.com

I thought it was a mistake. It is currently retailing at upto 3x as much elsewhere.

I think it may sell out quick, but new stock is apparently arriving within days.

Its a good machine, works well and a bargain price if you're after one.

    Delivery service was excellent too.

    Edit

Looks like it was just too good an offer and has now sold out.

I was just about to buy a new battery off ebay for my Sony Vaio C1-VE picture book, but I am tempted to have a go with one of these now.

This model has no keyboard at all, has anyone used one of these, how good is the text input ????

anyone want a nice Sony picturebook ?? :D

Yes I got mine - plus I ordered on a day when it was on promotion so got an extra £50 off. Its very unlike me to be that lucky!

Still, I have not told the wife yet, so it may end up costing me much more.

A similar machine is available from http://www.rm.com/FE/Products/Story.asp?cref=PS58930&catref=100.3.2.8 for £749 - which is the next cheapest place I have found.

And if you did manage to get one, then accessories can be found there too.
