Did anyone notice that on the Region 2 DVD of Terminator 3 2 Disc, that T3 is written on the underside of the disc (the side that the DVD player reads)? I’ve never seen that done before. Has anyone else seen it or seen it on another disc?

Yeah, I noticed this. I haven't seen it on any other films, but it's on the underside of PS2 games (a PS logo, not T3 ;) ).

Xusia Of Delos is correct it is so that the public can check the disc that they buy is genuine.

The Disney ones will have a M Mouse logo along the inner circle.

The ears will look kinda cute. I wonder if that will apply to Buena Vista and other Disney companies releases too. Sony could put a Sony logo on the bottom of discs. I think it is a good idea and looks kinda cool but it's a bit late to find out you've been ripped off after you've bought it, taken it home and unwrapped it... still, it should help trading standards investigate people selling chinese bootlegs. I saw something once about putting holegrams on dvd discs.

wouldn't something like that (call it a watermark for arguments sake) cause playing issues with certain players? (no probs with mine though)

it might cause confusion with the idiots of the world who try playing the label side as the dvd side (if there are pictures on both sides)
my T3 is the rental version and the disc is totally orange! top and bottom
