For all of you out there who are patiently waiting for your bargain region 3 T3 disc to arrive I can at least go some way to put you out of your misery and give you a few facts.
First of all the packaging is all in English. Upon loading the disc there's also an option to choose a English menu. So far so good!
There's also a DD 5.1 English & Thai Track as well as the English dts track. The menus are scored and use clips from the film with animated icons to the left of the image to select the usual options.

I've had a brief look at the film with the dts track and can report it's good news. First of all when you hit play your greeted with a short introduction by Governer Swhwarzenegger who explains there is an option to watch the film with the directors/cast commentary.
Now I haven't seen the whole film and I've just watched the opening sequence and scanned through a few scenes.
Upon the film opening there's a terrific explotion depicting John Connors vision of Judgement day. The LFE is terrific with the sumwoofer working over time from virtually the start of the film.
Connors naration at the beginging of the film is crystal clear as he brings us up to speed!
The picture is sharp and detailed with good shadow delineation & contrast. Blacks are rock solid! There is grain evident in the scenes where Connor relives his visions, but I'm sure as the director intended.
Colours are soild from brilliant reds to realistic flesh tones. Gone are the cool blues we were used to T2 and a more natural colour palate has been adopted. I did see a little pixelisation at times, and occassional trace of edge enhancement but nothing to worry about or to distract you from an excellent transfer.
So hopefully I will watch the full feature over the weekend. I'm looking forward to it!!!!

    :D

    cheers.

somehow I expected some bad things aftyer your first few sentences.
So there is a Thai DTS track on there???

those tracks sure need a lot of space then. 2DTS tracks, one DD5.1 and 2 DD2.0 for commentary.

No sorry I've amended my post. There's just a English DTS track. I was refering to the Thai DD track. I don't think the omission of a Thai dts track will bother most, unless your Thai of course.

    No they are NOT:

    T3 posted sunday...hasn`t arrived
    LOTR posted tuesday: not arrived
    Memento posted tuesday: not arrived

And then they manage to do this:
cdwow order posted tuesday arrived thursday:confused:

    [edit]

cheers for the update. 2 DD5.1 AND ONE dts TRACK SOUNDS MORE REASONABLE.

Mines the same. No bar code just a white box with a serial number, but not the usual UPC code. Not really too much of a problem, but I can't find it on dvdprofiler!

There is no 4.3 version of the film on disc 2. The 4.3 on the packaging relates to the special features which are presented in non-anamorphic w/s on disc 2.

I've just used the region 1 version to up-date my profiler and edited some of the details! The corect region 3 version will probably appear in the near future.

Quick question for owners of the R3 - Do the discs have the usual Warner artwork on them? A minor thing I know, just checking ;)
