i've just bought my copy of empire and in it is a little book of upcoming CTHE titles for the next few months. in it is a bit about T3 at the top of the right hand page is BBFC "12A" logo followed by "tbc".

Do we assume from this, that the R2 release will be 12A like the cinema release?

also in the mag the director talks about multiple edtions of the film coming to DVD, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

time to get the R1 me thinks.

I wish when they know they will do this they would give us dates of each release with the differences,

I reckon the Region 1 will be rated as a PG-13, then a PG-13 Ultimate, then a Unrated barebone, then a Unrated Ultimate. Oh yeah then a Unrated Extreme, then a Terminator 1,2,3 Ultimate boxsets.

    Easy money!

12A isn't a rating to be applied to video material, it is a cinema only rating, so I can guarantee that any DVD release will not carry a 12A rating, it will either be a PG or a 12, doubtful a 15.

Most films that are 12A at the cinema go down to a 12 on VHS/DVD from what I have seen.

Sometimes the extras can make it go up to a 15.

Not always. The R2 Phantom Menace DVD had some cuts to some of the extras to keep the rating down.
