I've seen on the other threads DVD-9 and DVD-18.

Can I show my ignorance and ask what we mean by this?

One is one disc and the other a two disc? Is that right?

Does everyone just want one disc for the convenience?

    Thanks.

    Dave.

Correct. Basically DVD-18 is a dual sided disc where as the DVD-9 set will be two single sided discs.
Overall difference = pretty much zero, as either way you have to take the disc out and either turn it over or swap it with another disc.

downside to DVD-18 is that you dont get a nice printed pic on the disc and you are more prone to damaging one side.
