I currently have the following setup

    Amp: Kenwood KRF-V5050D
    Front Speakers: Celestion F30

rest of my setup (dvd, sub, rear speakers, etc) is irrelevent for this question

I find the amp and speakers fine for watching movies in surround. When playing some music at higher volumes though I have had problems. There hasn't been disortion but the amp has cut out once or twice during loud volumes.

I am planning on upgrading my system. I would like to keep my amp for surround and buy a new stereo amp for music. Is this the right choice? I could connet both amps to my pair of speakers as they are bi-wireable.

My budget is £500 at the very max. It would be good to be able to go to Richer Sounds. What would you reccommend? I am prepared to get rid of my surround amp and speakers if it is part of the improved setup.

    Thanks in advance
