    hi all
    I have jusy bought a denon 2800mkII dvd & a denon 2105 amp.

my Q is what r the best options for there set up??

    2800mkII- optical / coaxial / s-vid /composite / scart & component.(output)

    2105 - rca(2 audio) x 6 / coaxial x1 /optical x 3 /composite x 4 / s-vid x 4 & component x 3 ( inputs)

sky + & an older sony wega trinitron ( rgb + standard scarts & audio outputs)

I would appreciate any help on this , so i can look for the best cables to buy for this set up?? ( hope this makes sense )!!!!:lease:

I am not familiar with your kit but if you have the right connections this would be my recommendations.

    For video.
    Dvd - tv =rgb scart
    Sky - tv =rgb scart
This is assuming you have 2 rgb capable scarts on your tv if not you will need a multi scart adaptor to your rgb capable scart on the tv.

    For audio.
Dvd - receiver =digital coax or toslink(optical) for 5.1 audio.
Sky - receiver =toslink(optical) for 5.1 audio if you subscribe to Sky movies.

For SACD/DVD-AUDIO (if your player has these decoders)
Dvd - receiver =5.1 analogue rca phono cables.

    Regards Martin.:)

thanks for the reply. got in touch with marks cables & ordered a new coaxial & sub cable, I already have a qed ot high grade optical .Wife said i can get a new tv , so will look to connect with component cables instead of the scart.

What a diff it makes to get good advice from people
