    Hi there,

I'm running Monitor Audio Radius 270 floor standers front, and 3 R180's for centre and rear surrounds. My sub is a Rel quake and my amp is a pioneer AX3.

I find the sound a little harsh a high levels and wonder if the Pioneer/monitor audio combination is not a match made in heaven. I also feel that the rel is a little weak in my 6m x 4m room.

Can anyone suggest a Mid range Av amp that will complement rather than clash with Monitor Audio's, I don't want to change the speakers as I feel thay are superb for the money and have a reasonable WAF level!!

Finally, what sub's work well with the MA's.

Many thanks, any help gratefully accepted!

I use a Marantz SR4500 receiver with four MA R90s and R180 center and they sound very good.
