I have recently got myself a Sonyericsson K750i Mobile phone.
I have been setting it up to work with bluetooth and & have managed to get all the settings correct & got the phone and my PC to speak & transfer files to each other.

    Now for the problem –
I want to synchronise my Calendar (using Outlook 2003) with the phone. Now I can sync an e-mail, contacts, a task and Note. But can I hell get the calendar to sync.
When I go to file in outlook, the ‘Bluetooth’ is highlighted in Contacts, E-mail & Notes Etc, but it ain’t highlighted in the Calendar.

Can anyone shed some light on the reason for this, and possibly solve this for me?

    Cheers

Not using any Software in particular.
Doesn't look as though any was needed to Sync Contacts Tasks & E-mail.

I will look @ Mobliedit, tho, Cheers

The Sony Ericsson File Manager software that comes in the box and the USB cable work like a dream when synchronising the calender. This is probably quicker than using a bluetooth connection too.... I think it can be downloaded from the SE website.

By the way, the K750i ROCKS!!!

Would that be the same for the W800i and if so what version of Outlook do you need to be running ?

I caouldn't get mobileit to work with my K750.

It doesn't syc the calender either, it wouldn't work with Bluetooth either.

There shouldn't be any need for any additional software to synchronise calendar entries. I've been doing that for years with just the bluetooth drivers of the OS...But there are some but's....

    1. What OS are you using and what service pack is installed?
    2. Which bluetooth stack are you using as not all support all bluetooth profiles in the same way.
    3. What do you mean by 'When I go to file in Outlook, the bluetooth is highlighted in ...'?? That totally confuses me.
    4. Another thing to check is which Outlook form is being used for you Calendar entries. For example the standard one should be "Appointments" and it may be that if your entries are in a different form it just won't synchronise. I've got that with my digital pen which stores it in "DigOrg" and forget syncing to anything else...

    Hope these few pointers help...

I haven't tried synching with outlook and my d750i. Can you sync back to Outlook with any changes on the phone?

Does the k750i have the feature where you take a picture of your friend, and when they ring you, their picture pops up? :lease: :lease: :lease:

Of corse, right, this will do for synching with outlook. I use Mobiledit for other stuff like messaging, backup, contacts, pictures... The good side of is it's very universal, I changed phones couple times since I have it and still keep this one software...
