Here is what I would like to do

I would like to run one pair of speaker from 2 separate sources.

One from my Yamaha Amp and the other from a plasma.

Now I am sure if I just connect the speakers to both sources it will cause a problem so need a switch box or an electrical divice to allow flow in one direction only.

    Any ideas?

Do you have an audio line level feed out of your plasma (stereo L&R) you can put this in to your Yamaha (TV in or similar) and drive the speakers from there.

If not try Maplins or CPC I think they may have Switch boxes, DO NOT connect them both at the same time. :smoke:

You can still hook it up via the Yamaha, just turn it down if you must. :D

CPC are like Maplin used to be a few years ago, they stock loads of useful little specialist items and lots of junk for people who tinker as well, part of the Farnell group, mail order only though.

The link you attached is just the ticket, I am not sure if they do anything to sound quality though never used one myself.
