switching plasmas off

Hi all when i turn off my plasma 435xde after viewing .i leave it in standby is this the norm or should i switch off at the main power button.

There was a thread about the standby question a while back. I still believe it should apply to plasmas and lcd's myself.

Not very green to leave it on standby, I always switch it off.

My LG 42PX3RV has no button to switch it completely off
There is however a mechanical switch which you hear every time when you press on/off button, but if I leave the house for a long period of time I would unplug it anyway. For the rest of the time I had my electronic devises always on stand-by.
