    Hi all,

I could really do with some help if poss!

Apart from my big install there is another room with a Sony Home Theatre (DVD/Amp all-in-one) unit.

    My requirement...

To put a switch in between the speaker cables of the front/rear speakers and the main unit (Amp)

    - When the switch is in position A then all works as normal.
    - When the switch is in position B then the front speakers become the rears and the rear speakers become the fronts!
    - it needs to be as cheap as poss too!

    Any ideas really really appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mark.

Also there is an other place called something like Lechtronics??? that also do a range of switching boxes. I will look in some of my mags for them not unless someelse can point a link to them.

If you are switching around your fronts and rears, wouldn't you need to switch your left and rights too?

Thanks to all that replied - I'll take a look at those websites.

Yes, you're right - left and right need to be swapped too but this isn't entirely necessary as I'll only be using the rears and fronts when playing CDs in 2 channel audio (so it won't matter that much that the left and right are the wrong way)

I was considereing buying a smll box, few switches, connectors, etc and making my own control unit (I'm not bad at the odd bit of soldering!).
